Reeder-Davies Grants from Cook Inlet Historical Society


Applications are invited for Reeder-Davies Grants from Cook Inlet Historical Society.

The Cook Inlet Historical Society announces the spring 2015 round of Reeder-Davies grants. There are two memorial grants being offered by the Society to encourage research and writing about the Cook Inlet area and Alaska. The Brian Davies Memorial Grant for Alaska History supports creative projects and in-depth research which promotes the study of Alaska history. Recipients of the John Reeder Memorial Travel Grant must be conducting research in a library or archives in Alaska. Each grant is in the range of $400-$1,000. Students, teachers, academic researchers, local historians, and others are encouraged to apply.

The Cook Inlet Historical Society is a private, non-profit historical society focused on the Cook Inlet region and the Anchorage area. It is a support organization of the Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center.
