The Anchorage Museum invites the public to Material Traditions: Sculpting Ivory.

Visit Alaska Native artists as they work with ivory, perpetuating a tradition seen in the Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center and Alaska Gallery exhibitions. The Material Traditions series is made possible by the Surdna Foundation, The CIRI Foundation, First National Bank Alaska, Alaska State Council on the Arts, Smithsonian Council for Arctic Studies and the Anchorage Museum. Included with admission.
