May 1, 2016 is the deadline for submission of abstracts for proposed papers, panels and poster sessions at the Alaska Historical Society Annual Meeting being held in Juneau, Alaska from September 21-14, 2016. This year’s theme—Exploring Alaska’s Past in the Pacific World—invites presentations on all topics related to Alaska history, with special emphasis on events that unfolded on the world’s greatest ocean.

Paper presentations are limited to 20 minutes. Presenters must be registered for the conference.

Abstracts are limited to 100 words and should be submitted by May 1 to Chris Allan, Program Chair, sprucetip105@gmail.com.
